Now Twilight as Alicorn can have not only access to stronger magic, but she also can learn flying pegasus tricks, how to control weather, practice strength and stamina on Earth Pony level, and I hope that Alicorns are more tough ( after all when you command big powers, you can not have small amount of hp, or else you would die from your own spells ).
So yea, I hope that Twilight wont get all powerful, but as she changed, she will have access to stronger magic, and also earth and pegasus tricks if she work hard enough.
